back to December 2010 :D

hualala it's the fourth day of the new year now but this post is going to be about everything in december last year, which started off pretty scarily with the last four papers of final exams! MA still gives me creeps until today. 

Fraser's Hill 

i'm kinda missing the cold weather, not the best for studying but it was very comfy to cuddle up in the bed. it's my first time there and there's really nothing much to play with other than indulging yourself in the serenity of nature. and it's really the spending time together with your family without having to worry about anything (except for me cause of exams), no work no nothing that makes it very relaxing. in all that 3 days we had breakfast lunch & dinner together - something that is hard to happen back here when we come home at different time.

this thing attached to all the windows there amazed me. it's a metal bar with holes to hold the windows in position so they won't flap with the wind. my brother said the old buildings in UK still have this too. as far as we've been told, this house we stayed in has been here for a hundred years! so old!!

when we decided to explore the so called town at Fraser's to find nothing other than lots of pretty flowers :D

in the living room.. haha didn't notice brother looked so alienated.

and omgosh, there were two cats there, one kept coming to us all the time meowing non-stop, and there was this other one which was always hiding but we heard it so my sister went to look for it and only managed to get this picture of it. funniest cat ever! looks like it's wearing a helmet right? xD

ohyea the flowers there bloom very beautifully, must be the nice weather.

and there were all sorts of moths, there were so many.. in the morning the birds would come and eat them :/

     

the car ride wasn't exactly enjoyable for mom and i though, poor mommy vomited after the car ride both ways up and down the hill. luckily it was only nauseating for me on the way down.


Resident Evil: Afterlife
went to hw's house with the thought of watching social network, who knows the dvd's subtitles turned out a bit weird so diverted to watching resident evil instead. gross gross show, the infected people look very unpleasant la. hw was pretty good at guessing when the kelefe dies though xD

Special Children Society of Ampang
followed Audrey's taymun friends there to throw them a mini Christmas party. another of my first time, quite an eye-opener and also felt a bit strange on the inside after seeing all of them. it was so hard to grasp what's in their mind, asked if they wanna play and to simple question like that they replied us in rather odd ways. some of them preferred to stay alone in one corner, some were overly expressive.. remembered this guy saying very scary words like "kiss kiss, making love", i'm not sure if we heard the wrong thing or what.

then this girl transferred her spaghetti to hw's plate out of a sudden, really no idea what they're thinking! but it was truly one good experience for me, how i wish the bad guys in the world could die and surrender their lives to these children so they can lead a normal life happily.

went back to taylor's lakeside campus after that to jakun around a little cause it was yeah my first time there too. it's sooooo nice okay! i think a nice study environment like this matters too. love the place. haha but not as kua zhang as eugene who wanna get married there lol!

Port Klang
younger sister and i accompanied daddy to attend an ex-colleague's daughter's wedding, indian wedding! my first time again. couldn't get a close look at their ceremony on the stage though it seemed quite special to me. then dad's friend brought us to port klang to have a look.

our outing that has been delayed twice before it finally happened! it's a lot of catching up about college life and stuff about Uni. talking back about what we used to do back then in standard 6 was very heart-warming. and we can still memorise each other's house phone number! haha those days when we used to call each other everyday and talk for at least one hour... awesome!

towards going home time, she said she could fetch me home so i was all excited to sit in her car, who knows the naughty car gave up on us - brake sensor spoiled so the back lights were on all the time and it ran out of battery :( papa ho came to the rescue at last! :)

ohya watched social network with her. they speak real fast in the movie!

1000 Cranes for Best Wishes
yes we bought 1000 pieces of paper, but nope we didn't manage to fold all 1000 of them into cranes. only managed 286 or 268, i forgot the numbers. great thing was i think it did work. no more complications please. we'll all have a good good year :)

Saidina with Huei-Wen
went over to hw's place to do "something", we tried googling for the "something" to do but still ended up playing Saidina - a malay version monopoly. i went into a terrible bankruptcy even with hw giving me discounts here and there T_T felt so terribly poor at that moment! then we played Connect4 again and i still kept losing like the last time we played, that's brain problem i blame myself xD

Ice-Skating 
supposedly ice-skating but we ended up cheong k-ing with audrey skating alone. another first time - singing with only one friend. and also my first time i brought hw to the canopy walk :) and it was only that day i found out she has such great love for herbal eggs!


X-group Reunion
and yeah a reunion cause bitty lim is back! it's been a while since we last met up like this. had dinner at 'Ming Tian' and we were greeted by a heavy downpour after everyone's done eating, really rained like big cats and dogs! taboo session at tse wei's house kinda failed so we played another game with cards, when i think of wk's expression during the game it still feels very funny xD

met up with my standard one best friend at one u. and that was really A LOT of catching up, 11 years to be exact cause we just found each other not long ago via facebook. while i was walking from the old wing to GSC i was even wondering if i should speak in mandarin or english! i guess we both haven't changed too much so it didn't feel awkward at all.

after that day also i posted our standard one class photo on fb cause she didn't have it. then slowly more and more  people got tagged in the picture! very amazing to see how everyone looked so different now :D

One-day-out with Bee
our long awaited one day out! just cause one day we were talking and we realised we haven't gone out alone before so.. first time again! cheong-k with her and her first time eating ikea meatballs. hehe she's so cute lar <3

I-City with relatives from Johor
really con money you know, now they charge rm10 per car. it's a voucher for you to spend on food & beverages, but to use the voucher you'll need to spend a certain amount depending on the restaurants. they've a snow house there now but we were all wearing inappropriate attire so had to skip that.

Bukit Cahaya. Shah Alam
the next day we went to bukit cahaya. first time there too, there were different areas like the four season park, animal garden, mushroom garden, etc. in the compound with the shuttle bus thingy to fetch you from one place to another.

mommy prepared some food so we picnic there.

then before they went home, sister decided to treat them Seoul Garden. not bad for the price. plus it's very fun to bbq the meat yourself while chit chatting x)

and so coincidentally we bumped into another relative from S'pore whom we didn't expect to see, hence the group picture :)

HH & Denesh's beeelated Birthday! 
for a change, this time was at MidValley instead of Pyramid :D it was like a present giving ceremony, 4 in total including su ann & hb's. played bowling after that... i was lucky enough to strike once then the other times either masuk longkang or very senget *hides face*

have always wanted to go out with her and we were both free that day so yay ;) watched Gulliver's Travels with her.. didn't expect there to be giants in the show!

this is such a great show :'(

will keep NYE in another post :D less than two weeks of holidays left!
