All in January...

*let the pictures do the talking*

Shogun on 6th
::
Gathering; venue suggested by our class monitor; planned through fb by mw, surprisingly the thread got revived just recently since qx finished her exams!
-

the ones who reached earlier to accomplish our "special mission", guess we kinda succeeded ;P

♥♥

what Shogun's food did to us!! though it's being exaggerated.. but seriously, it's not even worth giving a try there, unless you're too bored of good-tasting food ._.

despite the food.. we had fun out of giving not-so-pleasant comments to the food and taking group pictures! :D

Alina's 19th:: Dinner at Fullhouse, Ara Damansara; beautiful interior; sexay birthday girl; py the outstanding organiser.

isn't this cake just lovely? heart shaped with two strawberries on top! nice pick hw & ql.

making full use of what they have there?

surprised to see choong hern there, friends since standard one wei. glad to see dorie, my best partner during prema's class! happy to see everyone actually...

followed Alina back to her place and was surprised by another bunch of her church friends who were already there. being friendly, Alina introduced us to each other and we literally said "Hiiiiiiii" again & again in the same tone.

headed to the Murni at Aman Suria later on to continue chatting. discovered that they have such cute drinks called 'i love you' & 'i miss you'. strange enough, one of us actually didn't know what a french kiss was, while the other didn't know what creature a hedgehog was.

pleased that Alina managed to make it that night although she's busy.

Jyy Yee's 19th:: party in the house; guests of a combination of primary + secondary + college buddies; planned exactly the day before; PINK birthday girl.

as early as 10am, i finally saw my calista! witnessed cali's amazing parking skill at 1u. went on a search for our dear jy's pressie with cali & hw.
funnily, jy was at 1u too! hence, a mini H.A. reunion there and then.

hw attempted to push her shift earlier so she could attend the party, but it was not allowed :(

many many pink & white balloons were put up by the time we reached jy's house. thanks to her sisters who helped with the decorations and maids who prepared the nasi lemak their best at cooking.

her sister suggested we played a game. everyone was supposed to write a verb, a noun & an adverb on three pieces of paper, placed them into the three respective cups. took turns to pick the papers and had to act whatever was on the paper for others to guess. x)

What A Dream

*blows away the thick dust & cobwebs on my blog*

It was this evening when we were feeding our bouncy bunny Ador, my younger sister told me she had a dream last night. And this is how it goes...

One day, my family went to McDonald's (my sister must be craving for McD in her dream). The funny thing was, we took Ador along! Of all things on earth why him right?? Not like he can possibly munch on a set of Happy Meal -.-

Anyways, we headed to the upper floor and started eating. Out of no where, we realised Ador's MISSING! *panic* Then out of no where again, came a waitress running towards us. She said, "I'm so sorry, we took your rabbit away. It was causing too much trouble!"

and of course we questioned her back, curious of what mess Ador could have done...

Nope, he neither gnawed on Ronald McDonald's clown shoes nor chewed on the lettuce for the burgers.

My favourite part of the dream... She replied, "It was toooooooo lovable, all the customers were crowding around it until they didn't want to continue eating!" (now Ador better not be perasan if he happens to read this)

Though in fact he's not thaaaaat lovable, at least nobody would come crowding around it to the extent that they quit eating, but it's still cute in its own way :)

There, the bunnay...

baby him, shuppper cute that time.

My First Ice Skating Experience...

5th Jan '10

after much contemplation and persuasion, finally decided to give ice skating a try! now i wouldn't say i regret cause it was really quite interesting, especially for a first timer like me.

the whole process was similar to a kid learning how to walk all over again. every step was out of my control, looking at how some of them could skate so gracefully, i was there moving slowly (i wouldn't even say i was skating) and carefully in case i fall...

something to be happy about is that i actually managed to learn to 'skate' very slowly without holding onto the sides after a couple of times of falling down. that's a considerable achievement for me already... must thank audrey, huei-wen, qing lin, chee hung, and 2 of chee hung's college friends (cheng yie & samantha).

come to think of it, everyone of them helped me a lot, probably because i was the most handicapped one there. felt a lil bad though when they had to skate so slowly to teach me, they could actually skate like pro already! but that's what made me feel good, to have friends by my side helping me when everything seemed like impossible. (it was really veryyy slippery!)

they're all being very encouraging... with all the "see, you are doing better", "surely can one, come try to not hold the wall anymore", "i'll stay near you, don't worry, just skate..." very nice to hear those words you know :)

another thing i appreciated was when a stranger helped me up. there was this time i fell down in the middle of nowhere, this girl immediately helped me up. i witnessed a lot of this happening around the skating rink, people who never knew each other but automatically helped one another. isn't that just pleasant?

enough of the nice things i realised. apart from those, i almost couldn't feel my feet towards the end. was thinking if it's because i didn't skate in the proper way or what. it was worse for huei-wen, she had a blister that was bleeding without her knowing until she removed the skates and saw one big red patch on her white socks! ouchouch.

i never never felt so great to be in slippers before... it's exactly like i lost my feet previously and just got them back!

too bad we didn't take any pictures that day.

later, we headed back to one u. 7 people (including the driver) in the car! *thanks chee hung for driving us* played an interesting game of continuing the story with only three words when we were stuck in the jam. everyone was too tired, so we just sat somewhere and talked...
