on Father's Day itself, pa, ma and jie had to leave us to attend my cousin's wedding in Perak. too bad the dinner's going to be on Monday night, or else we would be able to all go back together!

and thanks to all the homework and assignment, i almost wanted to forget about the idea of making a father's day card for daddy. but when i woke up on Sunday, i saw mommy they all packing stuff, getting ready to leave... i suddenly felt that i should really make something for daddy because there are some things i wanna tell him through words.

so i started digging into my colour papers to see what i could make. prepared a draft of what i was going to write first, then cut cut paste paste and ta-daa i made a father's day tree! am quite happy with the end product although i did it in a rush.



every year, i make cards for daddy and mommy on special days, but every time, i'll have this problem of "how to give it to them?" i personally prefer to give them a little bit of surprise rather than just passing it to them and the normal hughug.

this time around, i really ran out of idea and was short of time. out of desperation, i tip toed out to the dining room and left the tree beside my dad's phone when he was just sitting in the living room. (impossible he doesn't see me!) before i even managed to turn, i heard daddy said "deng deng deng~" haha i didn't know what to do but laugh.

so he came and took the card, and said, "thank youu. i thought your exams are coming soon, did you spend a lot of time making this?" i almost said i just started making it this morning eeks.

then mommy came down too, and she said "ohh, your card is so special, nicer than mine!" i think i know the reason, mother's day card this year was made at 3+am. a bit unconscious already.



as usual, before mommy left, she kept reminding us must remember to do blablabla, don't forget to wake up in the morning for school and all. i find that very nice to hear. :) daddy also told us must take ar blabla...


maybe, just maybe, they never realise we're not that small anymore...



but yeah, sis and i are missing them already (until cannot concentrate studying) although they're only away for 2 days :O thank you gorgor for sacrificing your time fetching us around. and your cooking is really not bad! (Y)
