A Day Worth Celebrating

it felt as if it was only the beginning of 2009, but no!! it's now the 2nd week of May already, how unbelievable~

looking at the fast pace time's passing, we should really treat every single second seriously, appreciate every moment we have to spend with our loved ones, and of course live happily, life isnt that long after all...

yesterday was a public holiday (wesak day), and my family has decided to celebrate mother's day a bit earlier :) had a simple dinner at tony roma's, cineleisure.

gosh, the waiters were extremely friendly! they offered help to take a family picture even before you ask them to, they come to you to make sure that you're happy with your meal, and most importantly, they smile non-stop... that definitely made me a little happier :)

they serve in very generous portions too, like any other western restaurants... we've learned our lesson to not over order.

the starters, something called onion loaf and salad.

their famous ribs.
-
pa, ma, elder sis, me and mei mei + the missing brother (we're always waiting for you...)
-
if i were asked to write an essay on the topic 'the person who has influenced me the most', it would undoubtedly be my mom. basically, she's the one who made me into who i am right now and i'm more than glad to be her daughter, i can never wish for anything better :)

on thursday after college, we went to sunway pyramid by... taking sunway's free shuttle bus!!! the cute little orange bus ^^
--
waited for about 7 minutes before we saw it coming, not too bad. while waiting, we saw two very run-down bus mini passed by, and you actually have to pay for it, probably like 80 cents. but the air-cond bus we take was for free, except that the seats are very limited that we had to stand.
-
the whole journey was just so hilarious, not knowing where the bus is going to stop, and trying to balance ourselves in the moving bus, cant blame us, it's our first time.
-
after shopping for presents, we had extra time so we tried out the mini doughnuts at J.Co, they're called J Pops if i'm not wrong. 24 of them in a box :)
