Quality Time... ♥

It was all a random suggestion by my elder sister to spend the weekend at Malacca and then back to my dad's hometown in Johor since we've got four days off. left home in the morning, the traffic condition on the highway wasn't too good, plus it was raining~

it was close to 12pm when we reached the destination. so decided to have lunch first at a chicken rice shop which had quite a long queue...

and malacca's famous chicken rice ball, which urm wasn't too good. there were so many different restaurants and we didn't know which was nicer, so went for the one with the longest queue.

Then we walked around Jonker Street...

continued walking around... it was all shops along the street. selling shoes, jewellery, crafts, clothes, souvenirs and more.

then we went back to jonker street to get pineapple tarts for my uncle. there were many many different shops too. but we heard one of it was not bad so it was easier to make decision.

at around 6pm, went to this famous Restoran Capitol Satay for satay celup they call it. the queue was even longer! but since we had time, and it seemed to be one of the must-try. so we joined the line of people~

waited for so long, that my sisters and i visited a small and quite smelly pet shop opposite of this. saw a few baby bunnies there, they were all so skinny and small ~.~

hmm, it's something like steamboat, except you cook it in satay sauce. i always enjoy steamboat, so it was quite fun. X)

as soon as we finished, the sky was getting dark already. went back to jonker street again, cause my brother said the atmosphere at night's not bad.

not long after that, it started drizzling then raining again. luckily we had umbrellas.

and a DollMan making dolls... so many people were staring at him o.o

there were aunties singing karaoke on an open stage too XD walked around somemore for a while, and then it was time to leave for Johor.

the journey was nice at night, dark roads... with our silly jokes about flintstone the cartoon. :D reached my uncle's house around midnight... so bathed and slept straight away, tired after the whole day of walking around...

next morning, my uncle happily showed us a cake which was given by a friend who got it from Istana Bukit Serene Johor. it's just a normal fruit cake actually, but the fact that it's from an istana made jakun poeple like us take pictures of it X)

in the afternoon, we got invited to a malay's house for raya celebration. they're my uncle's business partner. warmly welcomed us with lots of cookies, the adults were busy talking while we just sat there, ate and watched.

after that, went to a fishing village called Kukup. funny name X)

took a boat ride out to the sea... it was hot at the same time windy~

they then let us down to the fish breeding place in the middle of the sea... showed us the fishes,

had dinner after that, then went back. another fun day :D

oh, and the CNY decoration which lasted until now... first time seeing it cause didn't visit my uncle during this year's cny. can't believe my uncle pasted so many flowers on the mirror! it's pretty :)

Poor Piggy.

it was on 18th Sept, a beautiful Friday when Huei-wen only had to take care of her grandma since her hardcore period ended on thursday; it has also been a week since Cali & Jyy yee's break started; me on the other hand had to rush to 1u after college. haha but it was worth it.
-
this time, Calista my bee shield's the organiser :D so glad that we insisted to go on with the plan although part of the x-group failed to make it. but good enough, i walked ran jumped hopped (exaggerating) all the way to fcuk from the old wing just because Cali called and said, "siewming, where are you? weng khong's leaving already!" X)

as i got closer, saw the three of them standing there... they showed me the presents wk bought for us, took a picture, then he had to leave already. felt quite bad also to let him wait for us from 2+ to 3.30pm.

then from there, we walked around looking quite lost for a while until Cali suggested that we go to Dave's. while waiting for jyy yee...

when jyy yee told us she's reached, we looked around to spot her. who knows we saw her coming out from Dave's... she actually went in to look for us X)

we were posing for the camera set on self-timer, and the waiter just put the glass right in front of the camera. -.-

and the lovely presents from wk! so nicely wrapped, and we were so so so tempted to open and see what's inside. they finished their food faster than me because huei-wen kept making me laugh. all thanks to the barbarian hair joke. XD

i got the cutest white bear cause it's also for my b'day present. they randomly picked the remaining three... it was so funny when huei-wen and i unwrapped ours first to find the cute little puppet soft toy! jyy yee later joined the joy, quickly unwrapped hers also... but it turn out to be something odd-looking.

hers was a piggy that looks alot like the greedy one in journey to the west, it's less furry and wears a shirt. XD

so after the lunner/dinch (lunch+dinner),we watched G-force. some parts are really cute, some funny, but overall, it was just okayyy for me. we met a teacher there, she was sitting right behind us with her daughter. eeks. and we didn't wanna say hi so went straight down to the exit after the show before people started leaving the hall. but the real exit was actually up there, ran up again. so not used to tgv. X) next time, we'll just say hi okay.

then a goodbye and here i'm looking forward to our next outing. time square this saturday?

i have this habit of looking back at the pictures in my folder once in a while, or when i feel like it. cause there's always something that's going to make me smile or even laugh sillily in front of the screen. let's not talk about anything sobby here. :)

this was when we made ballerina magnets together last year... it was really a stress free moment, all in mind was just to make pretty ballerina magnets and nothing else at all.
