Sorry, I Am Still Here.

Again, i've failed to keep my blog updated. The procrastinating side of me explains why and that's certainly one thing i want to get rid of as soon as right now! Starting to get fed up with myself not doing something when i know i have to.

After a one-month hiatus, i shall now write about how life has been treating me before they completely disappear form my memories. Apparently, that's one of the reasons why i created this blog - to write everything here so there will be this one day i can read back on what, where, why, when, who and how i was at a blabla point of time. (unfortunately, it's not working this way)

I know it's already the third week of March, but well i had a pretty interesting CNY (14 - 28 Feb) this year.

Fishies daddy made and he's proud of that :)

Since always, we take turns to visit my parents' hometown because dad's at Johor while mom's at Perak, it's quite a hassle to travel both places when we only get limited holidays.

This year we were supposed to be back at Johor but instead, went to Perak because they were going to have some new year gathering kinda party, which in the end DID NOT happen due to some issues with the planning. The little bit of extra excitement in me got taken away just like that when i heard it was cancelled.

I personally enjoy any sort of gatherings or parties where i get to see many people having fun altogether.

The good thing about going to Perak is that we get to see Grandpa & Grandma, they're getting old and they don't like to come to PJ, so it's usually only during holidays when we balik kampung we get to see them.

Some gifts for the relatives.

Talking about grandparents, they always just have to be so so nice to us until i sometimes don't know how to make them feel as good as how they make me feel. Every time before we leave for home, we will each give grandpa&ma a hug then wave goodbye (and i will feel like crying, stupid tear glands).

Anyways, my CNY at Perak only revolves around the tv, food, babies, aunties chit-chatting, ang paus and nothing much. Pretty boring i have to say, but i think i've learned to like it the way it is.

Oh, another fact about the kampung people, they really don't care much about the police or whatsoever. There were SO MUCH fireworks everywhere, the popping sounds in the air wouldn't stop and i could easily see all kinds of fireworks from near to far!

The sky was very beautiful that night :)

Grandma's cooking.

Stayed there for 4D3N before coming home.

As suggested by Huei-Wen, we had our first house-hopping experience after knowing each other for so many years. Spent a great time together from around 11am to 6pm at 9 houses in total! And what '9' or 'gau' in cantonese to symbolize that our friendship will last forever 'cheong cheong gau gau'~ haha!

At Hui Ling's place

and at Tse Wei's soothing house

Some other pictures are not with me, some houses we didn't have time to take pictures anymore. Thanks to Chee Hung and Hui Ling who drove us around, it was fun but quite tiring at the same time.

Then finally on the last day of CNY, we had steamboat at home.

CNY's a good time because everyone tends to be nicer to everyone. This year, dad's ang pau came with four mandarin words "再接再厉". He actually asked me how to write it, i wasn't too sure so we checked the dictionary together for that four words haha! I really cherish the kind of warm family relationship we have.

This is getting too long, THE END!
*must continue to update*
