First of all, spm is over. so, yay :D there would be no spm for me in the future! never again!! it took me a day or two to accept the fact that i do not have to bathe and eat so quickly just to be able to get back to the book right away, how insane. but that was all i could do in order to finish the entire syllabus in erm... 1 day, 24 hours or less (too bad, i'm no vampire, i neeeed sleep)
oh well, before spm actually started i had so many plans ahead, for example, to at least blog more often :) heh and obviously i failed in that. but to look on the bright side, most of the other plans are going on just fine. seriously, it feels oh-so-great to spend time leisurely with friends and family, especially after the 3 long weeks of spm that made me a total readreadread robot. now that it's over, i have resumed my life, my old happy normal life. perfect! besides the brain damage it caused, spm amazingly made me realise how much i treasure the people around me and everything i'm going through :)

Ador sleeping in its food bowl X) naughty naughty~
wee... you gots ta see it with your own eyes! it's MUCH much MUCH cuter in real life :D i'll upload some cuter pictures after i get 'em. probably after the ish! trial exams... i gots ta refrain myself from the computer, at least for now ._.
22nd of August.
i knew, 22nd of August's my birthday,
i knew, i was feeling happy,
i knew, i was going to get a cake,
i knew, my friends do care about me because i received their lovely b'day wishes at 12am,
i knew, the trial exams are waiting for me...
i knew, i was supposed to be studying hard but i just couldn't (it's my b'day! how cld i?),
i knew, today's going to be special because it's my birthday :)
i knew it all.
but that's merely what i thought and i was terribly wrong! wrong wrong wrong....
who knows they would appear just before my eyes when i was actually at home???
i expected nothing at all!
but what i got was EVERYTHING!
to have a bunch of dear dear friends celebrating my 17th birthday with me,
to hear them sing the merry b'day song while i watched the candles burn,
to cut my b'day cake that says "love you forever Siew Ming" with them standing around,
to eat domino's pizza together while drinking coke,
to slowly untie the beautiful ribbon around my present,
to spend time playing mafia with them, accusing, lying and killing each other,
these are what made the day oh-so-special!
i've got my biggest surprise ever... never so surprised!
THANK YOU so much! thanks for making my 17th b'day such a memorable one :)
Every picture tells a story....

If only...
let me continue here,
If only school days are always like today, i wouldn't mind attending school even on weekends!
*not exactly* but i would definitely love to wake up as early as 6am for school :)
from the statement above, it's obvious how much i enjoyed myself in school today. first of al, we had no lessons AT ALL the entire day. which also means NO homework for the day, yeah! being very me, forgetful and blur... i actually did not remember myself signing up for any physics olympiad test :/ but yes, i did. and there the day started off with this test, a horrible one i should say because it severely damaged my poor brain. the paper consists of a total of SEVENTY objective questions, and we were given TWO and a HALF hours long to answer all the questions. it might not sound difficult at all, but trust me, it was really hard. lots of calculations and critical thinking and complicated formulas everywhere. despite the damage caused to my brain, it was a good experience as it was my first taking an olympiad physics test :)
had recess after the test, and then we went for a motivation talk organized by the school for us form5 people. the speakers are really good and interesting too. the weird thing was they motivated me a lil in some way which i never thought would happen =) strange enough, i enjoyed myself throughout the whole talk! she's a wonderful lady i have to say, she managed to keep the talk lively the whole time, made everyone in the hall feel involved... and there was a quite emotional session when she asked us to close our eyes, while listening to this soothing music, she tried to help us visualise the moment we collect our results, how it felt holding the sheet with all the As we want printed on, to share the happiness with the ppl closest to us, to feel thankful and blablabla... that was when i felt something moist on my cheeks. oops! i just couldn't help it.
after school, as usual, i went for KRS, for your information, the very last meeting of the year :( i had fun playing the blind game, im not sure what you call it. everyone in the group had to close their eyes, except for that one mighty GUIDE who's job was to guide us, the "blind" people X) those mean AJKs tied strings and arranged chairs as obstacles for us to pass through. my group successfully reached the other side neither first nor last, yay! it was really hard to live with only a pair of ears in darkness. especially when the ajks came in and interrupt by misleading us. then it was the closing ceremony after the game. the juniors expressed thier gratitude by preparing a cake and also a thing they made of sticks and ropes that says "THANKS"... really sweet of them, though i'm no ajk.
So, the end of one happy day :)
*the only bad news was, there might be a test next week. aaaaah, i'm dead.
