Moving On...

sometimes, it's really hard to believe how fast time passes. lots of work to be done. joyous moments are therefore becoming more precious. last weekend as i was looking through some pictures, they evoked memories of everything that has happened last year.

Better than Ever ~

and so on 10th July, BU4 had an impeccably organised "Malam Bakat". the backdrop was nicer compared to the previous year's, thay had an extra yellow piece of cloth.
-
despite all the hard times asking our younger sisters to get tickets for us, and Huei-wen (thanks a lot) who even asked for a junior's help besides calling & texting a teacher, it was all worth it. not only were the performances mesmerising, each time the long red curtains draw open, it feels like a surprise; we had a good time sitting together as audiences. it's the spending time together talking and laughing that is really priceless.
-
it used to be such a routine lifestyle of waking up early so as to not be late for the morning assembly (or you'll be punished to pick rubbish in the school compound or stand there like a wood for the first period)... lining up and then entering the class at the same time, seeing everyone in their tidy school uniform... waiting for the teacher to arrive... long for the 20 minutes recess so we can walk around... rush to science labs just to get a perfectly round stool... then on wednesdays, stay back for clubs and societies... on thursdays for KRS... to decide whether we should go for camps or not... to be always sitting next to the same friend and be happy or sad together... to laugh and talk about nothing... to 'run/kayak' away when we feel bad... to endure unpleasant moments together... to keep the class clean so we can win a Star made of manila card... to decorate the class during special festivals... to go for class trips together... to sell Boh tea prepared with semi-boiled tap water during carnival (it wasn't our fault, people were desperate to get a drink)... to cheer for your friends who represent the house on Sports Day so they feel motivated to run... to force each other to do revision before exams... this is never going to end, there's just way too much to be reminisced about...
-
i'm glad to say we all share these fond memories, although moving on to different places but the close bond between us can never be broken, not even by means of chemical reactions. :)

Bye Amber~

finally submitted the Maths assignment on Statistics and Probability today. it's such a relief that i'm officially free from my I-will-report-you-if-you-don't-do-your-part leader :P working on it might be very tiring but i've learned a lot i would say. plus all the funny moments we had together in the library, it makes it even better :D
-
back to yesterday's english class, each group had to prepare two résumés on the mahjong paper in an hour's time and i got my chance to write with a marker pen :) i fancy marker pens.
-
then, went to pyramid with Sok hiong, Janice (thank you for driving us there) and Su ann with the intention of getting Annann's sexy bag fixed and also to enquire about Hotlink Youth Club's new plan which is incredible! call rates at 12cents/min and 1cent/sms with hotlink users. as compared to the current rates, this is very tempting. headed back to college to check on our maths project after that.
-
-
later in the evening, we had a small reunion/gathering/chit chat session at Jyy yee's place specially organised by our beloved Amber who will be leaving for Australia on Sunday. She's one person you'll never get bored with :) and thanks for your interesting drama Amber x) it was good!

I am kiasu.

well, i can't seem to find any other word more appropriate than that to describe myself. since maths teacher advised us about getting reference books for extra work to prepare for the tough questions she's going to set in the exams, i had a library trip with two other crazy friends. the excitement when you actually find the book you're looking for is just plain awesome. this, being the first time we borrowed so many books (3 each for Hey Herng and i, 2 for Su Ann) really made me laugh a lot. soft but continuous laughter though because it was in the library, where everyone buries their heads in books. and with all might, we managed to stuff the thickest book into our bags so nobody spots the kiasuness. then on our way to the washroom, we made silly jokes about having to plaster our shoulders cause the bag's so so so heavy. didn't know borrowing books can be this fun.

enough of being kiasu, which in fact we're not. it's just all the homework and assignments stressing us up. can't wait to submit the maths project this friday. during accounts class today, Ann and i got even more stressed up, new chapter's complex and difficult. then we came out with this silly idea of becoming a lion who doesn't have any worries at all besides RAWR~ing from day to night.

and we made a conclusion : everything happens for a reason; the reasons are there for a reason too.

life's getting really hectic since the beginning of this semester. loads of homework. looking at how fast time passes is indeed intimidating. so, appreciate every single second and make it a happy one for yourself.
